We do not collect or store medical records from providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Deliver scheduled SMS reminders
  • Deliver generic confirmation notices back to the caregiver
  • Maintain compliance with carrier opt-in requirements
  • Improve platform functionality
  • Prevent abuse and fraud

We never sell or rent personal information.

3. Sensitive Information (PHI)

Med-Mindrz is not a HIPAA-covered platform. However, we implement safeguards to ensure no PHI is sent to unauthorized parties.

Allowed

  • Reminder details (including medication names) sent only to the Care Recipient.

Not Allowed

  • Sending medication names, conditions, dosages, or any PHI to caregivers, third parties, or unverified numbers.

Our system may block or sanitize attempts to transmit PHI to unauthorized recipients.

4. SMS Consent

All SMS recipients must explicitly opt in.

We store proof of opt-in, STOP/HELP commands, and carrier-required logs.

5. Data Security

We protect your information using:

  • Encrypted storage
  • Secure transmission protocols (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Access control safeguards

Despite these protections, no system is 100% secure.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share personal data except:

  • With SMS delivery partners (e.g., Twilio)
  • As required by law
  • To prevent fraud or abuse

These partners may access your phone number and message content strictly for delivery/compliance purposes.

7. User Control

Users may:

Med-Mindrz is not intended for use by children under 13 unless the account is managed by a parent or legal guardian.
